KaMamalahoe Canoe Club and Foundation offers a comprehensive bystander CPR and AED training and certification program.
Training sessions are 2 hours duration. The cost is $50 per person and includes class materials and certification cards. Optimum class size is 10 to 20 students. KaMamalahoe is a certified training center under the Emergency Care & Safety Institute, an internationally renowned organization that provides training and certifications that meet job-related requirements as defined by regulatory authorities such as OSHA, The Joint Commission, and state offices of EMS, Education. Transportation, and Health. ECSI programs are offered in association with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American College of Emergency Physcians (ACEP). AAOS, the worlds largest medical organization of musculoskeletal specialist, is known as the original name in EMS publishing, and ACEP is widely recognized as the leading name in all of emergecy medicine.
